HE spent 15 years being commentated on in the ring but Ricky Hatton will soon be giving his own blow-by-blow account of his career.
The former boxing champ has landed a feature-length Sky documentary called Hitman: The Ricky Hatton Story.
It will chart his rollercoaster journey from Manchester council estate to fighting in Las Vegas, and will see him open up about money, celebrity and the impact his glittering career has had on his mental health.
Ricky has shared unseen, personal videos and photos for the film and will be interviewed along with friends, family, fans and former opponents.
Speaking about the documentary, due out early next year, he said: “To be working closely with Sky once again is a real pleasure for me.
“They were there from the very beginning of my professional boxing career and together we really helped to create something special in British sport.

“My hope is that this film will be authentic and entertaining, but ultimately I want my fans and the public to really love it.”
STELLA’S CUTTING COMMENT
GIVEN everything going on with the Government lately, you would think Labour MP Stella Creasy would have her hands full.
But she has still found time to weigh in on the key issue of the day – the hairstyles of the Love Island ladies.
The politician has sported a cropped hairdo for years and points out that ITV2 has never had a woman on the show who didn’t have long, flowing locks.
She tweeted: “After eight series of Love Island, there’s still one taboo it will never deal with.
“When will they have a girl with short hair on?!
“Now that will be ground-breaking.”
Love Island bosses insist they’ve been more diverse, and I’m not one to split hairs, but I agree with Stella.
If you’re on the fringe of female beauty, it’s unlikely you’ll get a look-in.

IAIN DALE said he felt “like a plonker” after falling off stage at Buxton Festival on Saturday.
The broadcaster had been giving a talk at the event before the incident, which left him unable to walk due to bruising.
After a trip to A&E, he added: “I feel like I’ve been in an episode of Casualty, without the blood.”
JOHN: MY PASS ON FRASIER
JOHN LITHGOW has revealed he turned down the part of Frasier Crane in Cheers when he was going through a “snobbish” phase.
The 3rd Rock From The Sun star was wanted for the part in the US comedy series ahead of Kelsey Grammer, who went on to score a hit with spin-off show Frasier.
Speaking on The Jess Cagle Podcast he explained: “It was during my very snobbish early years in Hollywood.
“I was never going to even consider a weekly comedy series. But I never regretted it.
“I defer to Kelsey.
“He is better than I ever would have been and I got 3rd Rock From The Sun.
“It’s arguable I had more fun doing that because it was so completely nut-ball.”
Who are you trying to convince, John?

MYLEENE KLASS has hinted she will take part in an all-stars series of I’m A Celebrity.
Asked about a return, the pop star, who made waves thanks to her shower scenes in the 2006 series, said: “Put it this way, I haven’t packed away my white bikini quite yet.
“It hasn’t gone up into the loft yet.”
OWS! OF DRAGON EH, MATT?
THE making of the new Game Of Thrones spin-off sounds almost as dangerous as the on-screen action.
That was certainly the case for Matt Smith, who says he was left with a scar on his face after being hit with a sword while playing Daemon Targaryen in House Of The Dragon.
The incident took place during rehearsals for scenes in the series, which launches on Sky Atlantic next month.
Speaking at Comic-Con in San Diego, his co-star Fabien Frankel, who plays swordsman Ser Criston Cole, admitted he was to blame.

He said: “Our first rehearsal with Matt, I smashed him in the face with a sword.”
Nodding, Matt admitted: “Scarred up pretty good.”
