Techne UK’s exclusive poll for Express.co.uk has Mr Suak, the former Chancellor, nine points ahead of his closest rivals Foreign Secretary Liz Truss and Commerce Secretary Penny Mordaunt among the general public by 20 percent to their 11. per cent. The findings come despite a brutal briefing campaign against the former chancellor by his rivals in the leadership contest that kicked off last Friday and a civil war erupted among Brexiteers over who to support.
