Roller coaster crash at Legoland Germany over 30 . injured

More than 30 people have been injured after two roller coasters collided at a southern amusement park Germany on Thursday.

The incident took place on a Legoland park in Gunzburg and according to local media reports, a total of 34 people were injured, two of them seriously.

The cause of the collision is unknown, but a park spokesman said it happened at the Fire Dragon roller coaster station.

Three helicopters were deployed to the scene, while the Bavarian Red Cross said 15 people had been taken to a local hospital after the crash.

Last week, a woman died in a separate incident at another amusement park in southern Germany. The 57-year-old woman fell from the roller coaster while driving, in the municipality of Klotten.
