Opinion: We've probably all experienced it: when the landlord raises the rent, there's not much we can do about it. The same goes for an increase in the price of electricity, which has recently been in the news again.
But there is a way some New Zealanders can reduce the price they pay and even benefit from rising prices: by taking action themselves and becoming a generator.
