Roto introduces 'Made for Meta' VR gaming chair

More unveiled the next phase of virtual reality entertainment with the Roto VR Explorer, a next-generation VR gaming chair created in collaboration with Meta.

The Roto VR creates an unparalleled immersive experience with Meta Quest headsets with its patented “Look & Turn” technology that transforms the seated 360-degree experience with its powerful motorized base and full-body haptics.

It will be the very first VR chair under the “Made for Meta” program and is open for pre-orders starting today for $799.

“Meta has changed the way we experience virtual reality over the past few years, most notably with the standout Quest 3. With the Roto VR Explorer, we've taken that immersion to a whole new level,” Roto CEO Elliott Myers said in a statement. “VR is about more than just visuals — it's about being able to explore places and feel like you're really there. Roto not only solves the challenges of exploring virtual worlds while seated, it adds an extra layer of immersion with haptic feedback. Roto with Quest gives gamers the most amazing adventures from the comfort of their home.”

Roto VR has a chair that you can use in VR.

Roto VR's patented Look & Turn technology allows users to intuitively turn to where they are looking, solving issues with 360-degree viewing, locomotion and motion sickness, the company says.

It has a built-in rumble pack that provides haptic feedback throughout the body, adding tactile immersion. Developed for Meta Quest headsets and compatible with all seated VR experiences, the helmet is fully compatible with over 400+ games and apps available in the Meta Quest store.

It has a premium leather seat with backrests, adjustable seat height and a footrest for 360-degree comfort. It has a cable management solution and smart charging. It is modular in design and supports a range of accessories, adding functionality for different types of gaming setups (sold separately).

Roto VR is based in London and was founded by Myers in 2015.
