Apple is reportedly looking to gain a bigger stake in the smart home device space and BloombergAccording to Mark Gurman, we can expect a tabletop robot from the brand as early as 2026. The device is said to have an iPad-like display attached to a robotic arm that can rotate 360 degrees.
Apple's tabletop device could control smart home devices and be used to join video conferences, while also doubling as a home security monitor. It would include Siri integration and Apple Intelligence while running a custom version of iPadOS.

Apple's tabletop robot device is rumored to hit the market in 2026 or 2027 with a starting price of around $1,000. Again, this is just a rumor at this point, so we recommend taking all of this information with a grain of salt.
