Russian ambassador lashes out at Sky reporter about Ukraine war investigation | World | News

Russian Ambassador to the UK Andrey Kelin lashed out at the behavior of Russian troops in Ukraine during a fiery interview with Sky News. Kelin tried to explain away the target of civilians in the war by putting the blame on the Ukrainian side and got angry when he was interrupted by Sky’s Dermot Murnaghan.

Kelin told Sky News: “Now in the Kharkiv area, in the south of Ukraine, specifically in Donbas” [Ukrainian shelling] lasts eight years.

“We have this record and we will apply it to that.”

“So the Russians are doing the same, okay, let’s accept that the Ukrainians are doing that, but the Russians are doing it too,” interrupted Mr Murnaghan.

“Don’t interrupt me,” Kelin snapped.
