In footage released on social media, Russian tank can be seen blown to pieces in Dovhenke, Kharkiv Oblast. The tank has been spotted just off the corner of a dirt road, surrounded by undergrowth. A Ukrainian drone detects the military vehicle and then captures the moment when it is successfully hit and destroyed.
Meanwhile, Russia is preparing for the next phase of its offensive in Ukraine, a Ukrainian military official said, after Moscow said its forces would step up military operations in “all operational areas”.
Russian missiles and missiles have shelled towns in attacks that killed dozens in recent days, Kiev said.
“It’s not just rocket attacks from the air and sea,” Vadym Skibitskyi, a spokesman for Ukraine’s military intelligence agency, said on Saturday.
“We see shelling along the entire line of contact, along the entire front line. Tactical aviation and combat helicopters are being actively used.
“There is indeed a certain activation of the enemy all along the front line… It is clear that preparations are now being made for the next phase of the offensive.”
The Ukrainian army said Russia appeared to be regrouping units for an offensive toward Sloviansk, a symbolically important Ukrainian-owned city in the eastern region of Donetsk.
The British Ministry of Defense said on Sunday that Russia is strengthening its defensive positions in the areas it occupies in southern Ukraine.
Ukraine says at least 40 people have been killed in Russian shelling in urban areas in the past three days as the war launched on February 24 by Russian President Vladimir Putin intensifies.

Rockets hit the northeastern town of Chuhuiv in the Kharkiv region on Friday night, killing three people, including a 70-year-old woman and wounding three others, regional governor Oleh Synehubov said.
“Three people died, why? For what? Because Putin went crazy?” said Raisa Shapoval, 83, a distraught resident sitting in the ruins of her home.
To the south, more than 50 Russian Grad missiles shelled the town of Nikopol on the Dnipro River, killing two people found under the rubble, Governor Valentyn Reznichenko said.
Moscow, calling the invasion a “special military operation” to demilitarize and “denazify” its neighbor, says it is using precision weapons to degrade Ukraine’s military infrastructure and protect its own security. It has repeatedly denied targeting civilians.
