The Bureau of Indian Standards, also known as BIS, certifies all smartphones offered in the country, and the last two officially certified by BIS come from Samsung. Neither has gone official anywhere else so far, though.
We are talking about the Galaxy A23 5G and the Galaxy A04s† They will both be sold in India as soon as they are unveiled. The Galaxy A23 5G should not be confused with the Galaxy A23which is only 4G and is already official in some markets.

The Galaxy A23 5G, which, in addition to India, also due to launch in Europewas recently spotted in a benchmark database with the Snapdragon 695 chipset on board, a small upgrade from the Snapdragon 680 in the 4G model. The prototype under test had 4 GB of RAM, but there should be more options at launch. It boots Android 12, unsurprisingly.
The Galaxy A04s, on the other hand, appeared in the same benchmark database with an Exynos 850 SoC – as seen in the Galaxy A13 and M13† It also runs Android 12 and one version has 3 GB of RAM. Earlier rumors said that the Galaxy A04s would have a 6.5-inch HD+ 60Hz LCD display and a 5000 mAh battery.
