Samsung has released the Android 12 update for the Galaxy M01 entry-level smartphone from 2020.
The firmware, M015GXXU4CVF6, brings the June 2022 security patch and OneUI 4.0. Mind you, this isn’t the full OneUI you’d find on Samsung’s more expensive smartphones, but it does bring a big visual improvement over the running Android 11 on the Galaxy M01.
The update is currently live for Indian users. Other markets should get it in the coming weeks.
This is the final OS update for the Galaxy M01, which launched in June 2020 with Android 10. But Samsung will continue to push security patch updates to the device.
