Samsung Galaxy M35 unveiled with a 6,000 mAh battery, Exynos 1380

Samsung introduced the Galaxy M35 in Brazil and is already for sale. It's very similar to the Galaxy A35except it has a bigger 6,000mAh battery (that's 1,000mAh more than the A-series phone).

The phone costs BRL 2,700, but is now available at a 10% discount (so the price is BRL 2,430 – this works out to $470/€435/₹39,000).

The Samsung Galaxy M35 is powered by the Exynos 1380 paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, plus a microSD slot. It runs Android 14 (One UI 6.1) out of the box and receives 4 years of OS updates and 5 years of security patches.

Like the A35, it has a 6.6” FHD+ 120Hz OLED screen. It has a peak brightness of 1,000 nits. However, there is no word on the protective glass. The extra battery made the phone thicker, it is 9.1mm thick and weighs 222 grams, compared to the A35's 8.2mm and 209 grams.

On the back there's a 50MP main camera (with OIS) and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera (plus a 2MP macro module instead of 5MP). Video recording offers a 4K@30fps mode and 240fps at 720p. The front camera is a 13MP unit punch hole in the screen.

The Galaxy M35 is the first of the M3x series with stereo speakers (next to the M55) and also has Dolby Atmos support. However, there is no headphone jack.

Unlike the A35, the M35's fingerprint reader is side-mounted (integrated into the power button). The phone supports Wi-Fi 6 (ax) and Bluetooth 5.3, plus USB-C (USB 2.0, so no DeX). This port also handles charging: the familiar 25W wired charging of so many Samsung phones.

The Samsung Galaxy M35 is available in dark blue, light blue and gray. You can find it on the Samsung online store in Brazil (and only there, at least for now).
