JAILED’s sex crime singer R Kelly is suing prison for $ 100 million reported for putting him under suicide surveillance.
He says his boss imposed action after his 30-year ruling on Wednesday, even though he knew he wasn’t at risk.
In a complaint filed in federal court in Brooklyn, 55-year-old Kelly claimed that the Metropolitan Detention Center did so “only for disciplinary action” and because he was a “well-known” prisoner.
Kelly claims that the “harsh conditions” believed to involve wearing a paper-like smock led to “serious mental distress.”
His lawyer, Jennifer Bonjan, wrote:
The I Believe I Can Fly singer was imprisoned in New York for abusing a minor girl by abusing his stardom and wealth.
