SINGER Amy Grant shared a heartbreaking update after a horror bike accident sent her to the hospital.

The contemporary Christian artist, 61, took a heavy fall while cycling in Nashville Wednesday afternoon.

“Thank you to all those who brought prayers and good wishes to Amy after her bike accident yesterday,” her team wrote on Instagram.

“She is in hospital and undergoing treatment, but her condition is stable.

“She is expected to go home later this week where she will continue to heal.”

The crash occurred around 3 p.m. near the Harpeth Hills Golf Course on the south side of Nashville, Grant’s publicist told WKRN.

The singer was with a friend when she fell. She was wearing a helmet.

The wife of Vince Gill was taken by ambulance to Vanderbilt Medical Center, where she is reportedly still being treated for cuts and scrapes.

She is in stable condition.

“Your kind thoughts and heartfelt prayers are felt and received,” Grant’s team wrote.

“Amy was wearing her helmet and we want to remind you to do the same!”

She has been married to her husband Vince Gill for over 20 years.
