For Alena Saili, the best part of her career as a two-time Olympic champion is seeing the big smiles on the children of Southland.
The Invercargill rugby player was part of the Black Ferns sevens team that won gold in Paris, becoming the only person from Southland to win gold twice.
In 2021, she won her first Olympic gold medal in rugby sevens in Tokyo.
