George Takei swore not to talk about it again William Shatner while labeling him as a “grumpy old man.”

The Star Trek legend is done talking about his former co-star and he insisted talk show hosts shouldn’t ask about it now their real feud because he finds the whole situation ‘tiring’.

On this week’s episode of The Graham Norton Show, he said, “You’re the last chat show host to be allowed to ask that question because it’s gotten so tiring talking about it.”

“If Bill has a book to sell, he needs publicity and accuses us of using him. My topic is more substantial and important.

“He’s a grumpy old man and I won’t talk about him anymore. I swear this is the very last time I talk about him.”

The 85-year-old was on the show to promote the West End musical George Takei’s Allegiance, which is based on his childhood experiences of World War II internment.

He reflected, “When Pearl Harbor was bombed, racism and war hysteria swept through the country and Japanese Americans were beaten, rounded up and arrested. It was a terrible time and it is etched in my memory.’

Meanwhile, George touched on the start of Star Trek and admitted that he actually thought the sci-fi classic was too good to last more than one season.

He said, “After the pilot episode I was asked what I thought and I said I didn’t think it would sell or be a lasting show because I smelled quality – I loved the scripts, everyone was great, it was a great idea – and every time I saw a show I really loved it, it only lasted one season. How wrong I was!’

George previously claimed William was “not a team player” to work with, telling the New York Times, “The rest of the cast all understand what makes a scene work.” It’s everyone who contributes to it.

“But Bill is a great actor and he knows it, and he likes to have the camera with him all the time.”

George also chided William about his spaceflight aboard Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin capsule last year. called him “not the strongest specimen” to make the journey.

William hit back, telling Page Six, “There’s a psychosis there… There must be something else in George that’s festering, and it’s making him unhappy that he’s taking it out on me…

“Why would he go out of his way to belittle me? It’s sad, I just feel sorry for him.’

And last week, the 91-year-old star told the Times that his former co-star has “never stopped going black,” claiming that he and other ex-castmates are “bitter and embittered.”

He added: “I have run out of patience with them. Why believe in people who are consumed with envy and hatred?’
