- And is described by the Herts police as slim built and about 1.80 meters long
A young girl is raped by a hooded stranger after coming out of an alley.
The 14-year-old teenager was walking near The Man In The Moon pub in Broadwater Crescent around 11:30 p.m. Thursday evening when a man she knew approached her.
The unknown assailant then launched the “huge concern” attack.
Described as slim and six feet tall with short brown hair and stubble, he wore gray Nike sweatpants, a black zip-up hoodie and white Nike sneakers.
The girl is now supported by specially trained Hertfordshire Police officers.

The 14-year-old teenager was walking near the The Man In The Moon pub in Broadwater Crescent around 11:30 p.m. on Thursday night when an unidentified man approached her before attacking her.
Detective Inspector Michael Macbeth of Herts Police said: ‘I understand this will be of great concern to the local community, and I want to assure you that we are conducting a thorough investigation to identify the perpetrator.
The suspect was described as slim build and about six feet tall. He is said to have short brown hair and stubble and wore gray Nike sweatpants, a black zip-up hoodie and white Nike sneakers.
“If you think you’ve seen someone matching that description in the area around the time indicated, please get in touch. If you were driving in the area around the time of the incident and have a dashcam, please check it and get in touch if you see anything that can help.
“If you have any information, please contact the police as soon as possible. Even something that seems relatively small or insignificant can be vital to our research.’
