Stormzy had the time of his life at this year’s Glastonbury Festival, and one big moment was captured on camera.

The award-winning rapper (28) made history in 2019 when he became the first Black British solo artist to head the Pyramid Stage.

Three years later, the musician took a step back from the stage and enjoyed the 2022 festival from the other side, while mingling with the crowd in the crowd and enjoying people like Kendrick Lamar and Billie Eilish.

Of course, if you’re at a party and you’re not make history with a record show, you’re going to let your hair down a bit – and that’s exactly what Stormzy did.

A video uploaded to an anonymous TikTok account calling himself the ‘Glasto insider’ shows the star, a drink in his hand, searching for the best spirit.

He takes a step down from a small stage – and then continues to have an almighty fall to the ground.

It turns out that the Shut Up rapper lost his foot on the way down from the elevated stage, and virtually flipped over on his head on the way down, causing some of those around him to gasp and shout in shock.

But the musician did not let him be fascinated, and when he was helped up by friends and a staff member, he was already putting a massive smile on his face, while someone exclaimed, ‘It could have been worse!’

Stormzy looked only slightly sheepish as he brushed himself off, but generally seemed to be in good spirits and was seen laughing to himself when he touched his ears again.

It was a fun-filled weekend for the rapper, who celebrated after being awarded an honorary degree from Exeter University for his philanthropic work.

The star was seen hanging out in the VIP area, often in his distinctive heart-shaped glasses, while embracing life at the festival on the other side of the barricades.

Stormzy was also seen taking quiet moments with his friends in more private areas of the festival as he walked across the grounds with a drink in his hand.

One video captured by a festival-goer saw the Vossi Bop musician throw forms along with the rest of the massive crowd to lead actor Kendrick, while another saw him meet fellow lead actor Billie Eilish.

After two years of delay due to the pandemic, Worthy Farm hosted Billie as the festival’s youngest solo mainline, Sir Paul McCartney as the oldest, and performances of some of the biggest music names around the world.

Lily Allen, Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl and Bruce Springsteen even made surprise appearances, which delighted crowds.

More than 200,000 fans flocked to Somerset, with a host of famous faces among them.
