“We are excited to continue our investment and partnership with Supervillain Labs, a team we have deeply respected since their inception,” Christie Lee, head of Korean partnerships at Aptos Labs, said in a statement. “Supervillain Labs actively combines Web2 fame with Web3 innovation. In doing so, the team demonstrates the advanced capabilities of Aptos technology and blurs the traditional boundaries of a gaming experience. This collaboration propels us into a future where gaming and blockchain are inextricably linked.”

The capital raised will enable a global launch of Web3 gaming for Supervillain Labs, a studio focused on a deep understanding of both the gaming and Web3 markets, as well as its technical expertise in blockchain game development.

Emphasizing a trust-oriented approach within the Web3 space, the studio leverages Aptos' on-chain technology to transparently manage in-game assets and provide fair rewards to its community of fans, gamers and influencers. Supervillain Labs is set to release its internally developed Web3 game, Supervillain: Idle RPG, in the first half of this year.

In addition, Intella X and Supervillain Labs are discussing other collaborations. Through this partnership, both parties will initiate joint gaming projects with the ERCC: Early Retired Cats Club non-fungible token (NFT) collection, as well as a more in-depth collaboration within the Intella X ecosystem and the games developed by Supervillain Labs.

These efforts are intended to enhance the Web3 ecosystem with innovative and engaging experiences while fostering the growth of the Intella
