A 24-year-old man pleads innocent to the murder of a baby who died in ŌtaraSouth Auckland.
He appeared before the Supreme Court in Auckland on Wednesday, where Judge Sally Fitzgerald set a trial date for February 2024.
police launched a murder investigation in June after a baby with critical injuries was taken to Watford Medical Center in Ōtara on May 23.
“CPR was started, but unfortunately the baby was pronounced dead,” Detective Inspector Warrick Adkin said earlier.
