Notable TEEN Mom OG Cory Wharton has revealed that he will be boxing a fellow reality star as fans beg him not to hurt his opponent.
Cory, 31, is no stranger to physical competition as he made his name by competing in MTV’s The Challenge.

The star announced the fight with an Instagram post featuring a pay-per-view promo poster.
The poster shows Cory bowing to composed Too Hot to Handle cast member Chase DeMoor, 26.
Before starring in the Netflix reality series, the self-proclaimed “best hands on TikTok” first attracted attention by showing off his incredible catching ability on the social media platform.
The social media star also has a distinguished college football career, playing at Central Washington University and competing in two bowling games.
Cory has an impressive record in his own right as he completed and won several challenges during his stint on MTV’s The Challenge.
The Teen Mom OG star showed off his impressive physique and durability during the show and showed off his skills on Instagram.
Cory captioned the post: “It’s TIME Finally we’re here, that’s right folks, I’m happy to announce that I will be participating in the NO MORE TALK card on July 30 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.”
He continued: “I can finally step in the ring and get my foot in the door. I’m going to take advantage of this opportunity. I’m going to work harder than ever before!!”
He closed the caption, adding, “See you all in the ring July 30th!!” and punctuation with a boxing glove emoji.
Friends and fans alike took to the comment section of the post to discuss the recent announcement.
Zach Davis, Cory’s ex Cheyenne Floyd’s fiancé and co-parent of their daughter Ryder, wrote: “Let’s get it, we in there!!”
Three-time MTV’s The Challenge champ Derrick Kosinski posted several hand-raised emojis, while another Challenge alum, Hunter Barfield, remarked, “Let them fly hands!”
Some commentators seemed to think the battle is already in the bag.
One fan wrote: “Win easy for you”, while another commenter added: “The picture says it all. You have already won, my man!!!!”
However, some fans feared for the safety of Cory’s opponent, with one person writing, “Don’t hurt Chase too much!!”.
A second, less concerned person commented, “He’s not well…”
As Cory prepares for his fight on July 30, he has been dealing with family issues outside of the ring.
ANOTHER BATTLE
Cory and girlfriend Taylor Selfridge recently opened up in a new video about their newborn daughter’s scary health diagnosis.
The couple shared the details of their daughter’s terrifying battle three weeks after she was born.
Taylor, 28, shared the heartwarming video on social media showing the moment she and Cory’s daughter were born.
In the clip, Taylor lay in a hospital bed, preparing to give birth to their daughter, while her baby daddy supported her from her bed.
A team of doctors and nurses surrounded the mother, who held the sweet baby in her arms seconds later.
However, their daughter spent the next few weeks in the NICU due to a terrifying health crisis, which Taylor and Cory explained in the video.
Recorded weeks before their daughter’s arrival, the couple shared the difficult moment learning of their daughter’s health concerns.
“In February I had my anatomical scan, which you get around 20 weeks – I was 22 weeks … and after the anatomy scan they basically called us and told us the bottom right side of the baby’s heart – she started out before she burst into tears.
Cory handed his girlfriend a tissue and she continued, wiping the tears.
“The right side of the baby’s heart was worrisome. After that they didn’t tell us what it was like; we didn’t know what it was like yet. And so I had about a week before they were going to give me another anatomy [scan] and an echo [echocardiogram]†
“And they had, like, all kinds of different things on the map, so I was a mess Googling everything,” admitted the mother of two.
“And then I had another anatomical scan, and they actually found a name for it. It’s called ‘tricuspid atresia’. So basically the bottom right side of her heart isn’t formed properly.
“So that means she’ll probably need three surgeries when she’s born, possibly just two. Of course we hope for only two.’
Cory chimed in: “We’re praying for just two.”
SCARY DIAGNOSIS
Taylor kept explaining what awaited the little one once she was born.
“The first [surgery] would be the first week of her life. The second would be about six months, and [the] third would be about two years old.
“And these are all open heart surgeries, like, these are all very important,” she concluded with concern.
Corey added again with a solemn expression, “It’s scary.
The video had a happy ending as the frame then flashed to their precious baby girl, Maya Grace, crying in her hospital crib.
Taylor expressed her gratitude in the caption, days after the new parents of two brought the newborn home from the hospital.
She wrote: “Maya’s birth is now on YouTube. I’m so grateful to look back at where we were a few weeks ago compared to being home with our baby now.
“Please keep sharing your stories with me! I read as many of them as I can and they make me so happy to see.”
