The Houston Texans were accused by more than two dozen women of failing to act after learning of Deshaun Watson’s allegedly disturbing behavior, but all of those claims have been settled.
Attorney Tony Buzbee announced Friday that 30 women who have either filed or planned to file claims against the Texans have agreed to a settlement with the team. The terms of the agreements are not disclosed. Buzbee said he will not comment further on the Texans’ alleged role in the scandal, but he took the opportunity to criticize Watson’s legal team for the way they handled the assault allegations.
“I don’t want to comment further on the allegations or the alleged role of the Texans, other than that there is a clear contrast in the way the Texans have handled these allegations and the way Watson’s team has done it,” Buzbee said. . wrote.

Only one of the 30 women filed an actual lawsuit against the Texans, according to Buzbee. That lawsuit will be dismissed once the settlement is complete.
One lawsuit made numerous disturbing allegations against the Texas organization.
