While the Pixel 5a typically costs $ 449, Google Fi offers an upgrade program that reduces costs to just $ 15 a month, or $ 360 over two years. After two years, you can upgrade to the latest Pixel phone with a subscription plan and keep your Pixel 5a at no extra cost. Alternatively, if you buy the Pixel 5a at the Google store, you get three months of Google Fi for free. This way, you can try out the program without committing to a two-year contract.

Google’s Pixel 5 has come a long way, and it’s worth the wait. It was not the highest specification phone on the market, but it was not the goal. At a retail price of $ 700, it has abandoned higher-end features such as face recognition and the quirky Motion Sense gestures to give you the stuff you love: a fantastic screen, amazing battery life and joyful software.

Google has decided to discontinue the Pixel 5 and the Pixel 4a 5G to make way for the launch of the Pixel 6. Unfortunately, this means that the two phones will only remain on sale until current stock lasts, and they are limited. You may need to go overhaul to get your hands on one.

Here are some of your options still available if you want to get a Pixel 5.

Pixel 4a

The Google Pixel 4a takes many of the styling directions of the Pixel 4, but at a lower asking price. All of Google’s parts and attention are now focused on their latest devices, so this is another device that has been discontinued, though you can sometimes pick up a new model.

The Pixel 4a 5G is essentially the 5G-enabled version of the Pixel 4a, but it’s not the only upgrade. The phone has a larger screen, a faster Snapdragon 765G processor and a larger battery. As a result, it perfectly strikes the balance between premium and budget, making it one of the best mid-range phones on the market.

Again, this particular phone has been discontinued, but there are still some offers while the quantities hold.

Pixel 4

Google also removes the Pixel 4 from its range, which means you have to hurry if you want the latest Pixel flagship in your pocket. There are pros and cons to the Pixel 4, but it offers a camera experience that is hard to surpass.

Oddly enough compared to its successors, the Pixel 4 is still available in a new state fairly regularly. There are no hoops to jump through so you can bring the phone to your choice provider.

Pixels 3 and 3a

Pixel 3a and 3a XL

Returning another half generation, the Google Pixel 3a and 3a XL still make good choices for mid-range devices. They step down to a Snapdragon 670 processor, but retain many features like Google’s powerful camera and integrated Google Assistant.

There are currently only deals for the Pixel 3a XL version, so check them out if you want to go big with this line.

Pixel 3 and 3XL

Although Google has ended the sales of Pixel 3 and 3 XL, you can still pick it up at reasonable prices at other retailers. The Pixel 3 family comes with a Snapdragon 845 processor on board and dual front cameras for amazing selfies.
