The vivo S19 series is coming, but the key specs of the phones appeared well before the launch. According to Digital chat stationthe vivo S19 and vivo S19 Pro will have new batteries with a larger capacity, but will keep the same chipset and screen as their S18 predecessors.
Both the S19 and S19 Pro have 50MP cameras on the front and triple setups on the back. These include 50MP main, 8MP ultrawide and 50MP telephoto units.
The leakster claimed that the vivo S19 Pro will have a 5,500 mAh capacity, and the vanilla version should come with an even larger 6,000 mAh cell. These are both improvements over the 5,000mAh batteries on the vivo S18 and S18 Pro, although vivo continues to charge at 80W.
Chipsets will be Dimensity 9200+ on the Pro, which was also confirmed by Geekbench, and Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 on the regular S19.
The screens will be identical: 6.78” OLED panels with a resolution of 2,800 x 1,260 pixels.
The vivo S phones are usually only sold in China. Typically they are rebranded as the vivo V series for international markets, so perhaps we are looking at the first members of the vivo V31 series here.
