The Traitors: Meryl Williams dreams of her own talk show

The traitors winner Mary Williams has revealed that she plans to make a career move to presenting after the success of Claudia Winklemanthe BBC game show.

Blackbird joined Faithfuls Aaron Evans and Hannah Byczkowski by taking home the cash prize of £101,050, after finally banishing the ultimate traitor Wilfred West.

Talked about earlier using her £34,000 to ‘make a career switch’ and ‘try new things’Meryl shared more details about her future plans.

The 25-year-old call center worker told Metro.co.uk and other press: ‘So I haven’t spent it yet. I would like to work on a different career path and I would really like to break into the television industry – I would like to present, something like that.’

She added, “But I’m going to use that money for flexibility to try and get into that business and keep trying.”

“It will definitely give me some options now to try to use this time and certainly use this exposure to try to ride the wave.”

Speaking about her dream job in the TV industry, Meryl continued, “Since I was four or five, I’ve always wanted a talk show called Minutes with Meryl.

“I used to play school all the time, I would be a TV presenter, then someone from the weather, someone from the news and someone from traffic.

“That was my dream!”

After winning the show’s first season, Meryl pointed out the importance of being a part of the show and of the winning team.

Meryl, who has dwarfism, said she believed she was the “first person with my condition to win a reality show that I’m so happy about.”

“In general, I can’t believe it. I still honestly can’t believe it. I feel very grateful. I feel ecstatic,” she said after winning.

The Faithful added to the press: “The whole reason I went on this show is so that people can educate themselves, watch it and see that I’m doing exactly the same as everyone else, and then realize I’m exactly the same. ‘

“I wanted people to see me doing normal day-to-day things and competing on a level playing field with everyone else, with no advantages or disadvantages.”
