The rise of the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) ecosystem has transformed the way enterprises operate. Whatever the problem, there is always an app that can deal with it. But when these apps grow to the size of hundreds across the enterprise stack, it can become difficult to make the most of them. Today, UnifyAppsa startup that solves this problem by making apps talk to each other has raised $11 million in seed funding, led by Elevation Capital.
Founded by former Sprinkler CTO Pavitar Singh, UnifyApps offers an easy-to-use, AI-powered platform to automate application integration. The tool currently unites more than 1000 apps and can achieve the integration within a few days. In some cases, it can even get the job done in minutes, the company says.
“We're not just building a platform; we are creating a movement,” Singh said. “Our vision is to enable companies around the world to break free from the constraints of disjointed applications and unlock the full potential of their technology investments. By unifying applications, we can help companies create more meaningful connections with their customers, foster more productive and engaged employees, and drive transformative growth and success.”
What makes UnifyApps different?
Traditionally, companies have driven their integration efforts with ELTreverse ELT, IPaaS and low-code application builders. The approaches do the job, but have also proven complex, time-consuming and prohibitively expensive – focusing only on one specific problem.
UnifyApps addresses this gap with a comprehensive approach that focuses on four vectors critical to successful integration: no-code application development, data integration, workflow automation, and the creation of generative AI agents.
At its core, the company's unified integration platform comes with more than 1,000 pre-built integrations for top applications including Gmail, Hubspot, and Salesforce. Once users connect to the apps of their choice, they can use the company's no-code builder, called Unify Applications, to bring them together into a single custom application. This allows them to get a holistic view of different business apps and take action from one place. Imagine one place where you can track all open Jira tickets and send replies via Gmail to address them.
UnifyApps claims it can help users achieve app integrations that used to take just a few days. In fact, it offers more than 30 turnkey solutions that jump-start integration efforts, allowing users to connect apps for specific use cases in five minutes.
When the apps are integrated, users can also use the company's UnifyData and UnifyWorkflows offerings to move data between applications, data warehouses, or data lakes (with transformations and automated schema mapping) and automate actions between apps using complex logic such as conditions , branching and looping. For example, a change in the status of a deal in Salesforce can trigger a subscription via Stripe or a follow-up action via Gmail.
When this happens, the integrations are primarily driven by Large Language Model (LLM) agents that use knowledge from across the technology stack to help with various tasks across the unified apps and workflows.
“We enable users to create generational AI-powered copilots integrated with their technology stack. These agents are finely tuned and purpose-built for custom use cases, allowing users to retrieve data, make decisions, and perform tasks at scale,” Singh told VentureBeat. This way, when building a unified app, a user can activate the copilot to get the latest insights from different apps and use those insights to build dashboards.
Fast growth at an early stage
At this stage, UnifyApps is working with more than a dozen companies who are using the integrations and providing feedback to help the company further refine its offerings. Singh denied sharing the names of these companies but confirmed that these are major brands in financial services, D2C consumer space, tech-enabled logistics, telecom and global SaaS product domain.
He added that the company expects to provide these customers with a 25% increase in cost efficiency through automation, four times faster application development and a 33% improvement in operational efficiency.
As a next step, UnifyApps plans to increase the total number of pre-built integrations to more than 5,000, allowing users to connect more applications and reach $1 million ARR by the end of this year. The intention is also to invest more in leverage generative AI throughout the integration process.
“We aim to push the boundaries of what is possible with gen AI in the context of integration and business use cases. By doubling our investments in this transformative technology, we envision a future where AI-powered integration becomes the norm, enabling businesses to achieve unprecedented levels of efficiency, agility and innovation,” said Singh.
