on Mel Giedroyc‘s show unforgivablesee in each episode three celebrities go to confessionals to explain the sins they have committed so that it can be decided who is the most ‘unforgivable’.
In the upcoming sixth episode of the third series, which airs next week, comedian Tom revealed a peculiar encounter he once had with a “mega” famous actor, whom he met after they were impressed by a performance he played. donated to a charity.
“I was asked to do stand-up at a very fancy charity dinner, and a very famous British actor sat on the first table in front of me. Like mega, mega fame,” he recalls.
“And after the performance it’s fine, and I’m at the bar, and this actor comes up to me and he says, ‘Oh I enjoyed that, would you like to join us at the table and have a drink with us? About half an hour later, this actor says to me, ‘Are you on drugs?’
Tom explained that while he has “nothing against people who use drugs,” he is “not a drug man” himself.
Nevertheless, he falsely told the actor that he was on drugs… before chaos ensued.
Tom said the actor in question had given him a bag of cocaine, which he took to the bathroom of the ‘fancy’ hotel.
“I’ve never taken drugs, yes, I tried to google it, but I had no signal on my phone. I’m just going to pretend,” he said.
“So I opened the bag of drugs and poured it down the toilet.”
After Tom threw away the bag of cocaine, Tom returned to the actor and his friends and reportedly turned to the comedian to ask for the bag back.
‘I said, ‘What do you mean? I did it.” He said, “You did the whole bag? There was four grams of cocaine in the bag. You need to go to the hospital,” the comic recalled.
Tom told how “panic” the actor got, thinking his life was on the line because of the drugs they had provided, and even talked about “calling an ambulance.”
“Obviously the calmer I looked, the more I looked like I was dying. So anyway, long story short, I owe about £200 to…’ he added, the identity of the person in question a mystery.
