Forget cheering or crying… Maveric Lamoureux“The people on the broadcast exchanged their tongues to celebrate their son’s selection in Thursday’s NHL draft – and it was such a wet kiss, the broadcast’s commentators even noticed!!!
Just seconds after the Arizona Coyotes called up Lamoureux – a Canadian defender – with the 29th pick of the first round, the 18-year-old’s parents started playing a bit of almond hockey.
ESPN’s cameras managed to catch the PDA – and of course the *ysts couldn’t help it.
The boys giggled on the broadcast, with the show’s host, John Buccigrossaying, “Go for it, mommy and daddy!”
But the TV guys weren’t the only ones who seemed to notice the make-up sesh… Lamoureux seemed to see it too, looking sheepishly onstage about it all!
After the kiss, Lamoreux’s father said in an interview that he is very proud of his son and called it “the best day of my life”.
