Daredevil bridge jumpers have put their lives on the line and found themselves in a busy stretch LondonRiver Thames as temperatures rise across the country.

A video shared on social media shows four men in swimming trunks jumping and doing somersaults from Tower Bridge.

They fall 30 feet into the normally busy waterway as the sun set over the capital, in a life-threatening stunt.

“We were all buzzing,” 18-year-old Adam Szaniawski told The Sun.

In the video, which shows the jump from multiple angles, spectators stand on the busy London Bridge as the group jumps from the railings.

Three members of the group jump first, one off the railing, while a fourth sees them descend before making the jump himself.

Commenters on the video called the stunt “sick,” while another said: “RIP. There are fifty diseases in that river alone.’

Those involved in the stunt describe themselves as photographers and regularly post images of adrenaline-fuelled stunts, including climbing to the top of tall buildings.

Police across the country have issued warnings after groups were spotted jumping bridges into rivers and reservoirs and swimming in dangerous waters.

A 16-year-old boy died on Saturday after getting into trouble in water filling an abandoned quarry in Wigan.

The teen entered the water at Dawber Delph, Appley Bridge, with emergency services recovering his body after a search.

Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service, along with police and ambulance personnel, were called to search for the boy in the water.

Shortly afterwards, he was pronounced dead, with his next of kin informed.
