Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham are all battling for high-profile deals as the summer transfer window stays toasty as the new football season draws closer.

Chelsea appear to have sensationally hijacked the transfer from Arsenal to Raphinha, with a fee of more than £55million coming close to reaching a deal with Leeds for the Brazilian winger. The Gunners are also battling Manchester United for Ajax defender Lisandro Martinez, although Gabriel Jesus’ move from Manchester City should be officially announced today.

Michael Edwards, one of the men widely credited with helping to restore former Liverpool glory thanks to his work in the transfer market, is backed for success by former Chelsea defender Glen Johnson – who worked with him at Portsmouth – should he move to Stamford move Bridge.
