Arsenal, Tottenham and Chelsea continue to work hard on revenue and expenses as the new Premier League season approaches. Thomas Tuchel works his way down the central defender’s shortlist with Jules Koude heading for Barcelona but a new target Wesley Fofana from Leicester and PSG’s Presnel Kimpembe are unlikely to participate. Denzel Dumfries of Inter Milan and Milan Skriniar have instead been linked with a big money double deal.
At Arsenal, James Maddison is still linked with a transfer, a deal that could see Fulham target Bernd Leno, but Lucas Paqueta would rather join the Spurs than their north London rivals. Mikel Arteta’s squad is associated with PSV star Cody Gakpo, while Nuno Tavares goes to Marseille on loan.
If Spurs choose not to move to Paqueta after failing a January offer, Roma star Nicolo Zaniolo looks like the most likely option if Antonio Conte pushes for another big deal. Elsewhere, Cristiano Ronaldo is losing hope about leaving Manchester United in search of Champions League football. Follow all the latest transfer news, gossip and rumors below!
