The Two and a half Men star sported a long beard for the rare photos taken seven years after he left Hollywood.

Angus, now 28, seemed barely recognizable when he emerged from what appeared to be a parking lot on July 7, 2022.

It’s the first time in nearly a year that he’s been seen in public, and even longer since he left show business.

The former child star rose to fame playing Jake Harper on his CBS sitcom alongside Charlie Sheen and Jon Cryer.

Angus has starred on the show since its debut in 2003, but retired from religion in 2012.

Angus accompanied his younger brother Otto to a barbecue dinner in Los Angeles’ San Gabriel Valley.

He sported a huge bushy dark beard that has grown quite a bit since then his last public outing in 2021.

He also wore a gray beanie and a black T-shirt with graphics that unobtrusively read “Ticket Master Sucks.”

He has had one acting credit to his name since 2012.

It was a bit of a part in controversial comedian Louis CKs 2016 TV miniseries Horace and Pete, which only streams via purchase on the comic’s website.

His last publicly spotted outing was in late August 2021.

Angus wore a similar hat and his bulging beard reached the bottom of his neck – he was walking down an LA street with no shoes.

SITCOM STER

The former child star was about 10 years old when he rose to fame in the role of Jake Harper on the CBS show.

Jake (Angus) lived with his hard-drinking uncle Charlie Harper (Sheen) and his disillusioned father, Alan Harper (Cryer) after his parents divorced.

The sitcom, created by Chuck Lorre – who also co-created The Big Bang Theory – ran for about 12 seasons and originally starred Charlie, Jon and Angus.

The former cute chubby child star with wispy brunette hair became a household name for his role.

Charlie was replaced by Ashton Kutcher during the ninth season after going into rehab.

A season later, in 2012, Angus quit after joining the Seventh-day Adventist Church, which he said was “tailor-made” for him.

Angus spoke to the Forerunner Chronicles, another Christian group, as he sat down and then drove a car YouTube clip with 2 million views.

He said people should “stop watching” his show because it “filled your head with filth,” according to… The Hollywood Reporter.

He also claimed in the video, “You can’t be a real God-fearing person and be on a TV show like that. I know I can’t.

“I don’t agree with what I’m teaching, what the Bible says, and that I’m on that television program.”

The then 19-year-old then apologized publicly Deadline saying he was “blessed” to have worked on it.

In 2014, however, Angus seemed to be holding firm on his new views.

“It shed light on topics in our world that are really a problem for a lot of people,” Jones told People about the sitcom.
