Two boys aged 14 and 15 have been arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with the death of an 82-year-old woman after a robbery at her home.
Joy Middleditch, 82, was found lying on the floor of her home in Grayson Avenue, Pakefield, on Saturday, March 25.
She was conscious but was taken to James Paget Hospital in serious condition and later died on Monday.
Her orange-coloured handbag with a silver link chain was found a short distance away on Nelson Road, but her black and white checkered purse had disappeared, police said.
Suffolk Constabulary said the teens arrested were both from the Lowestoft area and are being questioned at the Martlesham Police Investigation Centre.
