A VIDEO shows a Range Rover driver’s disastrous visit to the car wash as his luxury SUV is thoroughly washed inside and out.
The Range Rover Evoque tailgate opens during an automatic wash, causing serious damage to the car.

However, the whole process started as planned, with the huge brushes and spray giving the car a good wash before the tailgate suddenly opened.
The huge rotating brush, working its way from the rear of the car to the front, eventually pulls the tailgate right over the roof, nearly breaking it clean.
Water entering the Range Rover Evoque also caused interior damage.
The incident might have been prevented if the car wash had been controlled in some way.
The video uploaded by @supercar.failed went viral Instagramand more than 8,000 users liked the post.

While the caption reads, “Range Rover – disaster.”
Users were in shock after viewing the images.
One of them said, “Having money doesn’t equal having brains.”
Another commented, “This happens all the time. If I wash my Evoque, the back door opens. I think this triggers the sensor to open.”
A third commented, “Stupid. If the owner of the car had been near the car wash and kept an eye on him, it could have been easily avoided?”
