A WATCH dealer has died just days after robbers put him in a stranglehold to steal valuable timepieces.
Police have released images of two men they want to locate after the robbery at a jewelery store in Richmond, in the south west LondonSaturday around 2:50 PM.
The men, who were unarmed, entered the store on Kew Road and assaulted a member of staff before stealing a quantity of valuable goods. watches.
The staff member was not seriously injured.
However Police have now confirmed that the victim comes from Surreyhas now passed away.
His death is not considered suspicious, police said.
a metropolitan police spokesperson said: “We are aware of the death of a man in Surrey on Sunday 26 May.
“This is being investigated by officers from Surrey Police and is not being treated as suspicious at this time.
“The man who died was the victim of a robbery at a jewelry store in Richmond on Saturday, May 25.
“We ask that the privacy of his family is respected at this difficult time and moving CCTV footage of the incident involving the victim is not shared on social media.”
