Asus today launches the Zenfone 9, more than a year after the last flagship. The event will begin at 9:00 AM New York Time/3 PM Berline Time/21 PM Taipei Time and will be streamed live on YouTube.
You can view it with us as we expect the compact Zenfone 9 appear with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. It looks like we won’t be getting a bigger flagship with a flip camera this year as the rumor is dead silent.
The device has already leaked on a retailer’s website, from which we learned that it will be significantly lighter than the predecessor – just 165 grams. The screen would be less than 6 inches with Full HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and a punch hole in the top left corner.
The listing suggested a starting price of around $810 / €800 for an 8/128 GB variant. The Zenfone 9 comes in at least four colors – black, blue, red and white – all of which are a sandstone finish, according to the renders.
