‘We don’t know where he is’ – Russian club, Spartak Moscow gives update after Victor Moses does not report to club within weeks

Spartak Moscow has revealed that they are still waiting for news about the whereabouts of Victor Moses.

Former Super Eagles of Nigeria winger Victor Moses has yet to return to the club for several weeks and went missing on Thursday 30 June as the club held an open training session.

Moses helped the club win the Russian Cup last season to end a 19-year wait after beating Dinamo Moscow 2-1 in the final at Moscow’s Luzhniki Stadium last month.

But he has not reported to the club and the head of the press service of the Russian team, Dmitry Zelenov, says that Spartak will soon announce a decision on the future of Moses.

“As for Moses, we still have nothing to add to what we have announced. I think there will be news about Victor Moses in the near future,” Zelenov told Championat.com.

Moses ended a nine-year partnership with Chelsea by signing a permanent contract with Spartak Moscow last summer.
