Happy Days The Mandalorian fans – season 3 is not only on its way, but coming soon disney Plus in just a few short months.

Season 2 of The Book of Boba Fett stars Din Djarin – aka The Mandalorian (Peter Pascal) – was reunited with Grogu, after Baby Yoda was kidnapped by the conniving Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito).

Now that father and son are together again, Star Wars enthusiasts are no doubt eager to see what adventure they will have next, perhaps heading to the planet Mandalore with Mando.

Could we see Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) reappearing… or even a younger version of Han Solo (Harrison Ford)? Fans live in hope.

So when are the new episodes coming out? Here’s what you need to know.

When does The Mandalorian season 3 come out?

In news that is music to our ears, we finally know when The Mandalorian’s third season will be released.

A statement posted on social media read: “The Mandalorian and Grogu will return on March 1 only on @DisneyPlus.”

So from Wednesday, March 1, The Mandalorian returns. Can the next three months please go a little faster?

How many episodes can there be?

The first two seasons of The Mandalorian had eight episodes each, so it seems likely the third will follow in a similar vein.

Each episode is called a “Chapter,” and the season two finale is therefore “Chapter 16.”

Who’s in the cast?

In addition to Pedro and Giancarlo, there will be plenty of familiar faces in the cast for season three of The Mandalorian.

Carl Weathers returns as Greef Karga, alongside Katee Sackhoff as Bo-Katan Kryze, Emily Swallow as The Armorer and Amy Sedaris as Peli Motto.

Omid Abtahi will also be back as Dr Pershing, with Back To The Future star Christopher Lloyd and Saturday Night Live star Tim Meadows joining the cast.

The Mandalorian is available to watch on Disney Plus.
