Bundee Aki has replaced the injured Garry Ringrose in the lone change to Ireland’s starting XV.
Center Ringrose was forced out in last weekend’s historic 23-12 win in Dunedin after a sickening clash of heads that led to a red card for All Blacks prop Angus Ta’avao.
The win for Andy Farrell’s side at Forsyth Barr Stadium was an Irish first success over the three-time world champion on New Zealand soil, putting the series at 1-1 after a 42-19 defeat in Auckland.
Captain Johnny Sexton, who celebrated his 37th birthday on Monday, will play his 108th Test for Ireland, leveling with Paul O’Connell as the fifth player with the most limits in his country.
He will once again be joined by Leinster teammate Jamison Gibson-Park in the half-backs, ahead of the recalled Aki and Robbie Henshaw in midfield and the back three of Hugo Keenan, James Lowe and Mack Hansen.
Farrell’s pack for the game at Sky Stadium is unchanged from the first two meetings of the tour.
Dissolute prop Andrew Porter, who scored both of the tourists’ second test attempts on Saturday, joins hooker Dan Sheehan and tighthead Tadhg Furlong on the front row.
Tadhg Beirne and Vice-Captain James Ryan continue in the closing positions, with No. 8 Caelan Doris in the center of the back row, sandwiched between Peter O’Mahony and Josh Van Der Flier.
Keith Earls, who captained a second series to a 30-24 win over the Maori All Blacks on Tuesday, is added to an otherwise unchanged bench due to Ringrose’s absence and Aki’s subsequent raise.

The All Blacks have recalled fit-again-lock Sam Whitelock.
Under immense pressure after their defeat at Dunedin last weekend, coach Ian Foster has set the changes in motion, handing rugby league Roger Tuivasa-Sheck a potential Test debut off the bench.
Whitelock’s return from a concussion sees Scott Barrett shift to the back row instead of the relegated Dalton Papalii.
Giving way to vaunted Auckland Blues center Tuivasa-Sheck, Will Jordan has been promoted to start on the right wing as Sevu Reece shifts to the left.
Experienced prop Nepo Laulala replaces tighthead Ofa Tuungafasi.
David Havili, who was expected to play in the first Test at Eden Park but was one of three players banned after positive Covid tests, will start in the middle instead of the discarded Quinn Tupaea.
In a much-changed bench, veteran hooker Dane Coles comes in for his first Test appearance of the season, along with casual striker Akira Ioane.
New Zealand XV: J-Barrett; Reece, R Ioane, Havili, Jordan; B Barrett, Smith; Bower, Taylor, Laulala, Retallick, Whitelock; S Barrett, Cane (Captain), Savea.
