Who are the doctors of Embarrassing Bodies?
Dr Jane Leonard
Dr Jane is a fully qualified NHS General practitioner and cosmetic doctor.
She obtained a first-class honors degree in anatomical sciences, where she focused her studies on the anatomy of the face, head and neck.
Jane divides her time between clinics London† Liverpooland Cheshire.
Her clients range from famous football players to TV stars.
Dr. Jane’s work in dermatological research has been published in well-known publications, including Grazia, FashionInStyle, The Telegraph, Women’s Health, Cosmopolitan and the Daily Mail.
dr. Anand Patel
dr. Anand received his medical degree in 2000 from Kings College, London.
He left medicine in 2004 to become a biology teacher and head of sex education, before returning to medicine and qualifying as a general practitioner in 2008.
He now works three days a week in South London as a GP.
He spends the rest of his time at the Center for Men’s Health on Harley Street, specializing in male health, sexual function and testosterone issues.
Anand was one of the first doctors in the UK to receive the Fellowship of the European Committee of Sexual Medicine in 2012, the only accreditation in this field recognized in Europe.
Dr Tosin Ajayi-Sotubo
Dr Tosin is a London based NHS and private GP.
She has experience working in both primary and secondary care with a special interest in public health and women’s health, as well as in preventive medical care.
She holds an MBChB from the University of Manchester and a degree from the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health Care at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
She is the founder of Mind Body Doctor, an online and social media educational platform that provides a friendly, accessible space to educate people to care for what matters most.
What is Embarrassing Bodies about?
embarrassing bodies is an award-winning medical reality television program broadcast by Channel 4.
The show aims to help people with various medical problems.
The issues are often taboo or misunderstood, and the show tries to educate and debunk the myths surrounding it.
Since the start of the program in 2007, it has been a huge success and has won two bafta awards, and is nominated for the 2013 National Television Award for Factual Entertainment.
There have been eight seasons of the show, the eighth of which aired in 2015.
Past doctors on the show are Dawn Harper† Pixie McKenna and Christian Jessen as well as dentist James Russell.
