Tristan Thompson, 31, allegedly fathered a child with Maralee Nichols, according to a new paternity case.
Maralee Nichols is said to have given birth in December 2021, following allegations that she fathered their child on the NBA player’s 30th birthday in March.
The couple revealed their son’s name as Theo Thompson in February 2021.

TMZ reported on July 13, 2022 that Thompson and Kardashian are having their second child together through a surrogate mother.
A Kardashian representative confirmed the news via Twitter, writing: “We can confirm that True will have a sibling conceived in November.
“Khloe is incredibly grateful to the extraordinary surrogate for such a beautiful blessing.
“We want to ask for your kindness and privacy so that Khloe can focus on her family.”

Maralee Nichols claims that she and Tristan Thompson started seeing each other while he was still dating Khloe Kardashian.
Maralee’s allegations were revealed through a child support application dated December 1, 2021.
In the same court document obtained by The Daily Mail, Tristan and Maralee have different descriptions of the details surrounding their history.
Tristan claims to have only been intimate with Maralee once in March 2021, his 30th birthday in Houston, Texas.
Maralee refuted his statement by revealing that they allegedly started their affair up to five months prior to his birthday party in Houston in March.

Maralee has broken her silence on Tristan’s paternity case, which was dismissed in Texas.
On Thursday, December 16, a judge dismissed Tristan’s paternity lawsuit against Maralee in a Houston court.
In another suit from Los Angeles, Maralee claimed that Tristan is the father of her newborn son, who she just gave birth to this month.
“In recent weeks, there have been many inaccurate and false stories about me,” Maralee . said AND! news†
“I have not at any time released any information – nor have I instructed anyone else to – release any information about Tristan Thompson or any lawsuit involving him.”
“I have never spoken to any media outlet and I have never leaked information to anyone. I am making this statement because I feel I have to defend my character.”
Maralee said she was forced to make the statement following bad publicity she received.
“I’ve seen fake stories, unflattering photos of me, people using photos that aren’t even mine, stating an incorrect occupation and age,” Maralee said.
“There have been multiple fake Instagram posts claiming to be me, making false statements and attaching stock photos of an ultrasound and a child (neither of mine).”
Instead, Maralee wanted to set the record: “These are the facts: I’ve lived in California since 2019. I’m not a personal trainer.”
“I haven’t worked as a personal trainer for four years; I do fitness modeling. I was never a personal trainer before Tristan,” she finished.

How did Maralee and Tristan meet?
Maralee met Tristan at a party at his home in Encino, California in 2020.
“I saw Tristan in March 2021 around his birthday. He told me he wanted to see me,” she said.
“I agreed to meet him at a private party in Houston on March 12. I never drove a Maserati to meet Tristan, as he claimed. He never even sat in my car.”
“I was using an Uber or being driven by friends that weekend. Houston was one of the many nights we spent together. Shortly after his birthday weekend in Houston, Tristan invited me to visit him in Boston.”
Maralee said she learned she was pregnant a few weeks after her trip to Boston to see Tristan, adding that she had told Tristan about her pregnancy in North Carolina after he asked her to see him in April.
In court documents, Tristan claims otherwise.
“The only time I had intercourse with… [Maralee] in 2021 was in Houston, Texas in March 2021.”
“I specifically remember having sexual intercourse with [her] in March because it was my birthday. [She] and I attended a party together at a Houston hotel. [She] had called me and wanted to be with me on my birthday.”

The court documents filed on Dec. 1 contain two separate stories from both Tristan and Maralee.
Tristan’s account mentions that the alleged one time the parents-to-be were together marked the end of the Sacramento Kings player’s relationship with ex-girlfriend Khloe Kardashian.
In the paternity case, Maralee and her lawyers gave their side of the story.
The Texas native claims to have “traveled to California multiple times” and continued to see the father of two “after she was pregnant”.
Maralee is suing Tristan on a number of charges.
The pregnant trainer has asked for child support, as well as “reimbursement of medical expenses and pregnancy-related costs such as Lamaze classes, a doula and prenatal vitamins.”
On December 7, 2021, it was reported that: Tristan had filed a gag order against Maralee.
According to court documents seen by TMZTristan has filed an emergency petition in Harris County, Texas, for asking a judge to issue a gag order in the case, which would prevent him and Maralee from speaking out on their case.
What did Tristan Thompson say on Instagram?
Tristan went to Instagram on Monday, January 3, 2022 to make a statement.
“Today the results of paternity tests reveal that I fathered a child with Maralee Nichols,” he wrote.
“I take full responsibility for my actions. Now that paternity has been established, I look forward to raising our son amicably.
“I sincerely apologize to everyone I have hurt or disappointed during this ordeal, both publicly and privately,” the NBA player continued.
He then addressed Khloe in his statement.
“Khloe, you don’t deserve this. You don’t deserve the grief and humiliation I inflicted on you.
“You don’t deserve the way I’ve had you over the years. My actions are certainly not in line with the way I see you.
“I have the utmost respect and love for you. Regardless of what you may think. Again, I am so incredibly sorry,” he concluded.
