Who Were Jackie Sundheim, Stephen Straus & Nicolas Toledo Highland Park Parade Shooting Victim

July 4, the day America was born, the day it gained independence and the day democracy was born for the modern world. The day is meant for celebrations and happiness, but it doesn’t seem to be happening lately. Recently, a mass shooting on July 4th crushed and saddened everyone. The shooting that occurred on July 4 during the Independence Parade in Highland Park, Illinois, is the most horrific thing to happen in recent times. A gunman fired several shots and killed 7 innocent Americans celebrating a day of happiness and joy.

About 7 innocents were killed in this frenzy and about 45 innocents were injured in this brutal and barbaric crime. The victims who died in the horrific gunfights are identified as Jacquelyn Sundhiem 63, Stephan Straus 88, Katherine Goldstein 64, Toledo Zaragoza 78, and the parents of a two-year-old Toddler Irina and Kevin McCarthy ages 35 and 37. These were the innocent Americans who died in the horrific shooting. Kevin McCarthy and his wife Irina were there with their baby in the parade and were enjoying themselves when suddenly this calamity happened, both died on the spot from the bullets being shot at them, and although their toddler baby Aiden was found safe and alive he was taken away by the police officers are taken to a safe place. The baby is with his grandparents and extended family.

Jacquelyn Sundhiem a 63 year old another victim of this deadly shooting. The identification of her was done by her synagogue. Her passing is saddening and shocking news to her family, friends and all those who knew her. Nicolas Toledo is another elderly victim of this calamity. Toledo was the father of eight children and grandfather of many. Toledo was a Mexican and visited his children who lived in Highland Park, where he was shot dead. Stephan Straus, another elderly victim of this horrific brutality, his family and friends are also stunned and saddened to learn of his unfortunate murder in this frenzy. Families of all the victims of this brutal disaster are currently saddened and devastated.

This heinous and heinous act of violence is barbarity. While America mourns all these innocents who have lost their lives. But the question is when will these eruptions stop. These outbursts have been a common occurrence in the world’s greatest superpower. Where is America going? Where is the freedom of life in America? US authorities must protect their citizens, why don’t they fail to provide security to their citizens. Their primary duty is to provide safety and security to their citizens. Officials have stated that the investigation into this horrific shooting is currently underway and we may soon adopt an official statement from the officials.
