“I like to be competitive with others, it’s the reason I don’t go to the World Championships or Europeans.

“If I can’t be competitive with these guys, there’s no point going.”

When is the 2022 London Marathon and can I watch it on TV for FREE?

This year’s London Marathon is scheduled for Sunday, October 2.

The 26.2 mile course starts from about 9:30am UK time – but the coverage starts from 8.30am on BBC.

And the route includes runners passing London landmarks like the Shard, over Tower Bridge and the London Eye, but it starts from Blackheath in Greenwich.
