  1. Open only to residents of the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland aged 18 years or older, excluding employees of the Promoter, News Corp UK & Ireland Limited, and their associates, affiliates or subsidiaries, their families, agents or any other person ( persons) associated with the competition, including external promotional partners.
  2. The competition closes on August 13, 2022 at 11:59 PM (the “Closing Date”). Entries received after the closing date will not be counted.
  3. One entry per person. Bulk, auto-generated, or third-party submissions are void.
  4. To enter, you must click the ‘click to enter’ link on THE IT GIRL page before the closing date.
  5. There will be 10 winners.
  6. Winners will be selected at random from all valid entries for this competition received before the closing date.
  7. Winners will be notified by email or telephone within fourteen days of the Closing Date or using the other contact details provided by the winner. All reasonable efforts will be made to contact the winner within the specified time. If a winner cannot be contacted or is unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right to draw another winner from the valid/correct entries received before the closing date.
  8. The prize is a copy of THE IT GIRL in hardcover, paperback or e-book format, at the discretion of the promoter.
  9. The prize is non-transferable and there are no monetary alternatives to the prize, in whole or in part.
  10. The promoter of this competition is News Group Newspapers Ltd (publishers of The Sun) (the “Promoter”).

  1. These terms and conditions apply to all contests (unless and to the extent that) the contest states otherwise.
  2. The winner is responsible for ensuring that they can accept the prize as set out and in accordance with these terms and conditions, in the event that they are unable to do so, the Promoter reserves the right to reschedule the prize raffle.
  3. Admission is free, but participants should be aware that data charges may apply depending on their own individual internet access arrangements if access is online or by email.
  4. An Eligible Entrant must be an individual, must enter on their own behalf and must submit an entry in the form requested by the Promoter under this promotion, including their name, address and email address.
  5. By entering, all eligible entrants agree to abide by all of these terms and conditions. Misrepresentative or fraudulent entries will invalidate any entry. When a contest includes a voting process: offering or receiving an incentive to vote is not allowed and will invalidate the vote and may disqualify the recipient of the vote. The Promoter reserves the right, with or without cause, to exclude participants and withhold prizes for breach of these terms and conditions. The Promoter reserves the right to change these terms and conditions. All changes will be published on the Promoter’s website (the “Website”).
  6. The Promoter reserves the right to publish entries (including portions of entries) other than the winning entry and publication does not necessarily imply that the entrant has won a prize.
  7. Entrants retain copyright in their submitted entries, but by entering, all entrants grant the organizer a worldwide royalty-free, perpetual license to edit, publish and use any entry in any media (including print and online) for publicity and news purposes. The Promoter reserves the right to publish entries (including portions of entries), although publication does not necessarily imply that the entrant has won a prize.
  8. There is no cash or other alternative to the stated prize and the prize is non-transferable and no part or parts of the prize may be substituted for any other benefit, item or addition.
  9. Winners may be required to provide valid ID prior to receiving their prize.
  10. The promoter’s decision is final and binding on the participants. No correspondence will be conducted.
  11. The Promoter shall not be liable for any technical, hardware or software failure of any kind or lost or unavailable network connections that may limit or prohibit an Eligible Entrant’s ability to enter the Competition. Except for death or personal injury resulting from the acts or omissions of the Promoter or its employees, the Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising out of the winner’s (or their guest’s) enjoyment of the prize.
  12. By entering, any subsequent prize winners agree that their names, photos and general locations may be used free of charge for publicity and news purposes during this and future promotions by the Promoter or any affiliate or subsidiary of News Corp UK & Ireland Limited.
  13. Use of personal data received by the organizer in the course of the promotion is subject to the privacy policy available on the website. The names of the winners may be published on the Website.
  14. Completing and submitting a registration slip or email is considered acceptance of these terms.
  15. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, modify or replace the Competition (including changing prizes) at any time if, in its sole discretion, a Competition cannot be run as specified. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equivalent value in the event that circumstances beyond their control make this unavoidable.
