SEVILLA has sacked manager Julen Lopetegui after three years at the club.
The Spanish side were beaten 4-1 by Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League on Wednesday evening, leaving them scoreless in three European games so far this season.

They also had a nightmarish start to their domestic campaign, sitting 17th in the LaLiga table after just one win in eight games.
And Dortmund’s loss proved to be the last straw for Lopetegui, as he was sacked by the Sevilla board less than an hour after the final whistle.
