Woman dubbed ‘killed by stranger’ in London street attack

A woman who died in a ‘horrific attack’ in Ilford, London, was murdered by a stranger, police said.

She has been named as Zara Allena, 36, who lived locally.

The attack took place in the early hours of June 26 as she was walking along Cranbrook Road towards Gants Hill Station.

Mrs. Allena died in hospital after being found injured on the street.
