A man in his 20s has been found dead at a children's playground as police arrest two men.
Emergency services were called to Gorton Street, in Ashton-under-Lyne, Blackpoolyesterday around 9:30 am.
The woman's death is being described as 'unexpected' but not 'suspicious'.
Lancashire Police have now arrested two men, both in their sixties, on suspicion of supplying narcotics.
A police spokesman said: “Emergency services were called to Gorton Street, Blackpool, at approximately 9.30am today (Thursday 15 August) following reports of a sudden death.
“Officers was present and found the sad body of a woman in her twenties.
“The death is being treated as unexpected and is under investigation, but is not being treated as suspicious at this time.
“Two men, both in their 60s, have been arrested on suspicion of supplying a controlled drug. Investigations are ongoing.”
