A WOMAN was shocked to wake up to find that a small child had pulled over her socks.
Passenger Juliet Valentine had taken off her shoes and fallen asleep with her feet flattened in the small gap between the wall of the plane and the seat in front of it.
When she woke up from her nap, she realized that the child who sat across from her had taken on the task of giving her crisp white socks a sparkling new design.
Purple and blue scribbles were now all over Julia’s left sock, leaving her shocked.
She shared footage of the unwanted scribbles online, with the caption “I woke up to a random boy drawing on my white socks…”.
The video was picked up by Instagram account Passenger embarrassmentwho shared it with their 1.4 million followers.
They shared some advice for boarding a plane without shoes, saying, “We often get questions about wearing socks on planesand we are 100% ok with it… IF they are clean, no smell and stay in your own space and not propped up on different parts of the plane.
A second said, “Your feet were in their space, it became their paper.”
Flight attendants seem to agree with the child, with many suggesting shoes must stay on during the duration of a flight.
Cabin crew member Raven Johnson said, “Yeah, they clean the planes a lot more than they used to, but still you’re not home.”
Another clerk wrote on Reddit: “I promise you, 9 times out of 10 that’s not water on the floor.
“The toilets are often absolutely disgusting and don’t get a thorough cleaning until the end of a route, for us this could be from one side of the world to the other… imagine how beautiful they are at the end of a 12 hour flight with 200 people using them. ”
Meanwhile this passenger was yelled at for taking off her shoes during a flight.
And this passenger seated their bare feet on the armrest of the person in front.
