Physiotherapist Kit (Thoren Ferguson) spent most of his time in Emmerdale Village helping Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) recover.

Tonight, however, we got a first glimpse that he could stay around for some time while Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy) caught his eye.

Before he met Marlon, Kit was in the cafe chatting with Lydia (Karen Blick), someone who thinks the therapist’s eyes are as pierced as Ted Bundy’s.

Luckily, there were no more hints that Kit would be the next Emmerdale villain while chatting to reporters Bernice (Samantha Giles) about veganism.

Elsewhere, Marlon and Laurel were chatting outside, and just as Laurel got up with the box of chocolates in hand, she bumped into Kit – letting the chocolates fly.

It was clear that Laurel felt a little confused, because when Marlon introduced her to Kit, she responded with: ‘you have to be fit … Kit!’.

Oops!

Kit also felt a little warm under the collar (or jacket, he was not wearing a collar) and showed off by responding to Marlon’s ‘give me five’ … by sagging on the floor and a do some push-ups.

Natural.

We do not know Kit very well, but he is a friendly man who is dedicated to helping people recover from life-changing events.
