Strange things Star Gaten Matarazzo provides tips on what fans can expect when Netflix’s science fiction series’ long-awaited Season 4 Volume 2 drops on Friday.
During his visit Tonight’s show On Wednesday, the actor who plays Dustin told host Jimmy Fallon that Volume 2 contained only two episodes.
“I think episode 8 is probably an hour and a half,” 19-year-old Matarazzo said of the fourth season. “But episode 9 is getting closer to two and a half hours. It’s a movie.”
He continued for the whole season. “It’s actually nine movies. They’re all close to an hour and a half — they’re all over an hour.”
Fallon praised the next episode, saying, “Everything is starting to pay off, everything is working and it’s really cool.” Matarazzo agreed, adding that “you learn a lot.”
The actors discussed the first and only time he and actor Jamie Campbell Bower, who plays the villain Vecna in Season 4, had a dialogue on the set. After all, this encounter was a bit unpleasant.
