Tom Holland can have competition if Spider Man – and it’s not far from home.
This week, Zendaya celebrated like them earned her second acting Emmy nomination for her amazing performance as teenage drug addict Rue in drama Euphoriaand became the youngest two-time nominated actor in history.
To mark the occasion, the Greatest Showman star shared a few throwback photos from when she was filming the show, looking back at a scene when she climbed out a window.
The first photo showed the 25-year-old standing on the edge of a balcony, with several crash mats and crew members below her.
“Looking back at my Euphoria photos…as you can see it’s a very supportive set lol,” she wrote.
In the second image, she was shown climbing in or out of the window, one of her legs on the balcony with her left arm resting on the side of the building, as she admitted, “It gives Spidey-Rue.”
Numerous fans have picked up on her Spider-Man reference, as the actor MJ (first introduced as Michelle) has been playing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since 2017, when Spider-Man: Homecoming came out.
“Zendaya is the best ending to the debate with Spidey,” one person tweeted, seemingly in reference to the ongoing debate among superhero fans over who played the webslinger best of Tom, Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield.
“Look at her doing her own stunts…legendary behaviour,” another commented, while another wrote, “Euphoria exists in the MCU.”
We wonder what Tom thought of her parkour antics!
After her final Emmy nods — also nominated as a producer on Euphoria for outstanding drama series — Zendaya expressed her gratitude online.
“The love is so real, thank you so much…I feel it<3," she wrote on Twitter, in a post that has racked up more than 278,000 likes.
